"The hardware may be old, but it is clean. The employees are friendly and provide good service during check-in, dinner/breakfast, and checkout. The hotel has a certain Showa-era feel to it. During our stay, we enjoyed playing arcade games, taking a dip in the onsen, and trying out the delicious food."

"お盆を過ぎた時期に、金曜日から1泊させてもらいました。 鬼のオブジェの真後ろのメタルのいうお部屋でした。 チェックイン、チェックアウトは備え付けのタブレットから。 少しアワアワしましたが、割とすんなりできました笑 お部屋はとても、清潔でスタイリッシュ‼️ テンション爆上がりでした。 ただ、強いて言えば、お部屋に入った時、1階は涼しかったのですが、2階が異常に暑く、クーラーを付けてもなかなか冷えず、クーラーを入れていてもらえたら嬉しかったということと、鬼のオブジェは夜も煌々と電気がついていて、（障子窓を開けるとすぐ鬼のオブジェの裏側)夜もずっと明るく、カーテンなどがあれば嬉しかったです。 それ以外はほんと素敵なお部屋でした！ ありがとうございました！"

From 2010 to 2011, my family lived in beautiful Okayama Prefecture, Japan. This area of the country is not frequently visited, particularly by foreign visitors, in comparison to such places as Kyoto, Tokyo, or Mt. Fuji. Nevertheless, it's at least equal in beauty to these locations, with many beautiful features and unique places. One such place is the Seto-Ohashi Bridge, which is one of several bridges connected the main islands of Honshu and Shikoku. This bridge is around 8 miles long, and can be crossed by both car (on top) or train (on bottom). The views in this area are spectacular; the view from Mt. Washuzan in the town of Kojima is especially stunning. This area has a lot of special memories (my second daughter was born nearby, for example), so I'm a bit biased I suppose, but I think any traveler would benefit from a visit! "My husband and I stayed at Mitsui Garden Hotel Okayama for one night between two parts of our trip near the Seto Inland Sea. The hotel is conveniently located near the city’s JR station and within walking distance of urban landmarks like Okayama Castle. It was clean and comfortable, and the staff were excellent — they even brought our takkyubin luggage to our room so it was waiting upon our arrival. The breakfast buffet offered a mix of regional, Japanese, and Western dishes, and it was the best breakfast we had during our trip to Japan."
