"First impressions were slightly underwhelming, but ignore those, the hotel is excellent and the staff are great. The food was wonderful and the pool was lovely. To swim and watch kites and eagles overhead is a rare pleasure and now a glorious memory. Criticisms - the room tended to get quite hot and there is public transport but it’s a bit of a walk away, but those a minor criticisms. On the main question - would I go back? Yes. Gladly. Gratefully."

"Excellent location - if you pack lightly. Luggage not hard to carry from train station to the hotel. Property itself is a cute boutique hotel with attention to detail in every corner. Has a pool! It has 2 Michelin recommended restaurants, great food. There’s an elevator to take your luggage to the room. Rooms are modern and spacious! Do day trip to triberg, another gem of a town!"

"This wellness hotel is beyond excellent!!! From the amazing services to the views of the Black Forest and the super lush meadows from our room. There are 10 different spas and 2 pools- inside and outside which our kids loved! The room is very nice with comfortable beds. Our teenagers stayed upstairs with 2 beds and we were downstairs. Very roomy- all amenities we need were there. The hotel have their own spring water and you can drink it- tastes amazing! Breakfast was also very scrumptious with...
