"Acajou offered exactly what my wife and I needed for a short staycation. A few minutes walk to the beach which walks more of having your own private getaway. The food was home cooked and delicious. Very friendly and courteous staff who were more than accommodating. We had the ability to see nesting turtles from our hut! Will be rebooking and recommending. Thank you Acajou! "

"The owner took us to the airport at no charge at 6:00 AM. The owner changed our room when aircon leaked. Huge effort was made on cleanliness & service. Rooms were large as were beds. The hotel was booked for airport convenience and it meets that. Rooms had external doors & wall which I didn’t like as the country has a poor safety reputation. There was a restaurant on site which was good as we mightn’t have had a meal otherwise as walking at night isn’t recommended & we were on a very short trip...

"It was a short but wonderful time in Trinidad. We were very lucky with our hosts and we are grateful to have met such great people. If we had known them before, we would certainly have stayed longer. We felt very comfortable and in good hands. The accommodation is simple but clean and everything we needed was there.
