The Nirvana was an excellent choice for Placencia. Right on the beach and convenient to all the local restaurants and beach bars. Evan and Barbara were both great hosts and we had a great stay. The hotel is well maintained and feels very homey, all the amenities that you need. The breakfast was also very good.

Beautiful and Peaceful Stay

The peace and serenity along with the wonderful accommodations of the Belizean Nirvana made our stay in Placencia a time to remember. The room was incredible and the proximity to all the shops and restaurants was unparalleled. 10/10 would stay here again.

Great, clean room and fantastic staff. The location was great.. very close to many restaurants and shops. They had bikes, kayaks, and paddle boards for guests to use and they were so much fun. Highly recommend!

I stayed five nights at Nirvana in mid-April. It’s a great place to stay in Placencia. It’s centrally located in the village and is an easy walk to bars, restaurants, shopping, and the dock from which many excursions depart. I had a first-floor unit with plenty of space, a comfortable bed, and very nice porch. The beach is right outside the front door of the unit. There is a light breakfast on the roof each morning and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I’m already thinking about staying at Nirvana again.

This is a great hotel with a super friendly staff and management. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The amenities are awesome. We were disappointed not to be able to book it again when we passed back through Placencia on our way to Belize City

Barbara and her staff were waiting for us upon arrival to help us with luggage and parking and great explaining all of the amenities and answering any questions we had! Best hotel we have stayed at anywhere in Belize (and one of my all-time favorites anywhere)! Nirvana pretty much sums it up. Beautiful room, comfy bed and an incredible porch with chairs and hammocks overlooking the Caribbean. Staff is also wonderful, accommodating and friendly. Bonus was the kayaks and paddleboards that were available steps from the sea. Also, the best beach we have seen in Belize (and we have travelled all over). Cannot think of a single thing I would change about this place.

Fantastic place and people that operate the Nirvana, they took very good care of my family, we had two suites. My wife and I in one and sister and her boyfriend in another. Close to all eating and excursion pickups. The most accommodating place we have ever stayed. Thank you Evan and Barbara and we'll go back in a heartbeat.
