"A great little guest house where the lovely staff make you feel very welcome. I’ve been coming to Pong Phen for 20+ years & watched it evolve from a typical Kanchanaburi backpacker place to the extremely comfortable GH it is now. A huge variety of rooms to suit every budget, a great breakfast included and some of the best food in town - can’t be beaten!! It has a nice quiet setting on the River Kwai, down a lane so no traffic noise, and the most beautiful sunsets over the serene river. Plus in 40C+ the pool was just wonderful…… Thank you to all the staff for their kindness and hospitality on my first solo trip. Hopefully, see you again next year!"

"The breakfast was superb and the staff were extremely helpful arranging laundry and taxis, our air conditioning wasn’t working so they moved us to a new room and everything was good. We would definitely return to this hotel ."
