"My husband and I stayed here for one night. It was directly on our route, so it was very convenient. It was also located next to Fridheimar tomato greenhouses and restaurants. We weren't able to get reservations in the greenhouse, but we did go to the wine bar and have the tomato soup for dinner. Very nice & convenient!
The room was spacious, though a bit dated. It had a fan in it which was great as we stayed in the summer. The breakfast was very nice as well. We would stay here again. "
"This is a fabulous hotel just across from the famous geyser, on the golden circle. We were there only one night and I wish we would’ve had more time there. The rooms are modern, with all the amenities you might need. Everything about the room was exceptional: the bed was very comfortable, the shower had plenty of water, pressure and hot water, and they had blackout curtains to help with the midnight sun. "Photos can not capture the beautiful scenery at the villa. You are surrounded by nature and the view of the Northern Lights surrounds the area when they are dancing. Our teens, young adults, middle-aged, and senior family members were all able to enjoy the spacious layout. Travel to local sights is easy and worth it in order to be in the tranquil quiet by the lake. I highly recommend staying here. The owners are wonderful hosts."
"The Blue View Cabins offer a well thought out self-catering experience in an area which allows you to beat the tour groups to key sites on the Golden Circle. To top it off, each cabin is equipped with a private geothermically heated hot tub.
The accommodation is well furnished and well finished in a modern style, and the whole was very clean.
The kitchenette has a two area induction hob, kettle, coffee machine (coffee provided), microwave and fridge with small freezer compartment.
