"Location was unique. No staff on site. Was not notified that key was in room. Had to drive a few miles to another hotel to be told the keys were in the room. Couldn't get TV to work. Couldn't leave bathroom door open while showering for fear of setting fire alarm off...there is a sign."

"The room was clean, however a few things were in poor condition. The bunk bed in the cottage was in disrepair. The top bunk had broken crossbars underneath that were secured with duct tape but were still broken. The mattresses were not comfortable (thin) and the pillows were not great. In the cottages specifically, we could hear everything at all times happening outside our room (even with the windows closed). The breakfast was chaotic and often times there were no clean plates or cups. Overall,...

"We spent two nights at the start and end of the road trip. Basically fine with this hotel, but two negative comments 1. no fridge in the room. 2. hot meal was omitted in the 2nd morning (Wed). One good thing is that we enjoyed the spa and sauna in the in-house gym."

"This was an okay stay! We spent three nights here overall both upon arriving in Iceland and Departing. The first two nights we had an atrium view room, for me the bed was too soft and you could hear people loudly through the closed windows down in the atrium early in the morning- even though we were on the fourth floor. The last night we had an outer view room which was much nicer. I would definitely stay again, but ask for an outside view room."

"This hotel was unique, artsy, and comfortable. The beds were very comfortable, the room was clean and we had everything we needed. I enjoyed the breakfast buffet and the desk staff were friendly and helpful. I loved that there was such a beautiful pool and spa and was excited to use it every evening, but the hot tub was a bit dirty which was a disappointment."

"I'm not giving perfect score due to lack of parking when it's promoted as having parking. I assure you everything else was superb. Comfortable, quiet, clean, employees kind and helpful and breakfast was delicious options. They even have a bottle of cod oil for you to take a shot if you want to. The bread and butter was soooo good, of course the skyr and the fruits to add were all really good in flavor."

"The hotel staff was amazing, We got assistance with early check in after red eye and not sleeping with kids. The property is clean, roomy, center location to all necessities. Was happy that they were able to provide fan and opened window was a huge plus. Can’t thank enough for memorable time in Iceland and for accommodating me and my family"
