"Fabulous place in a great location, very quiet and safe area and plenty of car parking available overnight with restricted parking during the day. Accommodation was excellent and I will definitely use it again, kitchen was well stocked and the bed very comfy and overall the place was very well done out and clean. "The staff were super friendly and went out their way to help us. We arrived at 12.30 as we had a wedding to go to at Balbirnie House. We knew the room wouldn’t be ready for check in but the staff went out their way to turn our room around so we could drop our bags and have a quick freshen up before leaving at 1.15 for the wedding. "On arrival we were greeted by a lovely receptionist who was very friendly and informed us of everything about the hotel. We had a lovely garden room which had a lovely view of the hotel gardens. "Although the suite itself was beautiful and the bed was very comfortable, unfortunately our stay was overshadowed by several issues. The lights in the room didn’t work properly, which was frustrating from the start. The door to the suite constantly rattled whenever the downstairs door opened and shut, and because of the lack of soundproofing you could hear every conversation from below. "Lovely. Clean. Full restaurant and bar, open 24/7. Second or third hotel on the trip that doesn't provide face clothes (wash clothes, flannels, whatever you may call them). No hand towels either until we requested them, but responded immediately when we did. Overall, very comfortable. Airport is right there but glad they had a shuttle - helped when transporting luggage. Definitely recommend."

"This hotel was understaffed with trainees, which made the check-in period punishing. The restaurant was also understaffed and they did not communicate that our order of bar simple food would take 1.5 hours. When asked, they said they were backed up and offered no compensation or apologies. We would never stay here again. While affordable, the experience was terrible and a huge waste of time."
