"The tram station is 7min away and the bus stop is right in front of the hotel. Only problem is the hotel restaurant and the restaurants along the street are not opened on Sundays, so you need to go to the central for a meal."

"Stayed for 3 nights for a local conference (CNR). I have limited Italian, but the staff were wonderful; very helpful and kind. breakfast was very good and very reasonably priced, and the room was clean and functional, and CNR was easily walkable (about 15 minutes gentle walk). There was a local supermarket within walking distance, as well as local restaurants. Very happy with my stay."

"We had a short stay in Florence and this was a perfect location of us. The biggest 5 star rating was the helpfulness of the owners in retrieving a passport that we left in Rome. We were frantic when we realized we have left the passport in an Airbnb in Rome, and they went out of their way to help us have it retrieving and brought back to Florence. I cant say how much we appreciate it. FANTASTIC service!!!"

"A nice and clean hotel, hidden away so little confusing but all worked out. Room was very clean, can't fault that. Refurbed so that was good. The shower and toilet were ridiculously high, can't work out why. Felt Quite unsafe getting in and out of shower - only fault. "

"Such wonderful stay at this beautiful private hotel . Stunning views . Delicious food and amazing service. The only complaint is that pool was closed and they didn’t mention that on their website as we were ready to go swimming. They open it only at certain months of the year "

"It was about a 20 to 30 minute walk to Old City Wall. Much longer to walk back as it is uphill. A taxi back was approximately 30 euros. Our room was small but clean. The Manager was helpful for directions etc. "

"Excellent location and friendly staff. Clean and pleasant room. However, You have to climb a very narrow and steep stairs to reach a room that fits 4/5 people. It is impossible task for older person or for someone not strong. It should be written in description. "

"There was a lot of shouting from the nearby food and drinks establishments while we were trying to sleep. The windows and walls were not noise-proof. I was tempted to shout back at the women in the street who were calling out their friend’s name in English. We arrived late for the check-in (after 1830 I think) and we had to pay 30 euros in cash. The place itself is full of historic charm and I think it is part of an authentic Florence experience."

"This was a wonderful small intimate hotel. We received a lovely warm welcome. The location is superb only 3 minutes from the leaning tower and also a beautiful square. The hotel kindly offered us breakfast to take away which was delicious fresh coffee and divine croissants. Our room was large and luxurious. I would definitely make this my hotel of choice when visiting Pisa. Superb. "
