Our stay at Casa Santo Nome di Gesu was perfect for exploring Florence. The location of the Casa is in a quiet neighbourhood but in a short walk and you are amongst a great selection of restaurants and shops. We enjoyed the quiet garden and breakfast every morning.
We had a great stay! The bus stop is a 6 min-walk to the hotel, and the location is amazing - we walked to all the main attractions in Florence. The check in process was easy and our room was very spacious. The hotel is beautiful and you feel like you're in a historical place. Breakfast was really good and had a variety of options to choose from. We had our luggage stored for a couple of hours after our check out.
Friendly staff, very nice breakfast, quiet place neat, peaceful, real oasis, but within close walking distance to bustling, busy, fun part of Florence. Getting our breakfast packed and ready for pick up on a day we had to leave early for a day trip, was a very nice touch.
Thank you.
A lovely, updated convent on the quiet side of the Arno, handy to everything. Rooms are recently updated/ renovated: large sparkling new bathroom, big bedroom with a simple layout and furniture (furniture probably from a self assembly place!); lovely staff; solid, decent breakfast, except maybe the weiners where sausages should be, unbelievable courtyard and garden.
The staff at this property were really lovely and helpful. The family room for 4 was very comfortable and clean. We only stayed one night but would return for more.
We loved it! Pristinely clean and comfortable. Very friendly front desk staff. We felt very safe and enjoyed the daily breakfast. In a great location , close enough to walk to many places and enjoy the sights of the beautiful city!
Great place, not in the middle of the crowded touristy zones but close by to enjoy and retreat. Amazing staff, delicious breakfast and beautiful yet spartan accommodation
This was a great historical property that was once owned by a prominent family. We stayed in the room advertised for a family of five. We had 5 comfortable twin beds and a large bathroom with a double sink. Air conditioner worked well and room was dark when needed to be. Lovely large garden in back and breakfast served was enough to get you started.
Really liked the location of the hotel as it was close to all major tourist attractions. Staff were very friendly and the cleanliness of the hotel was top notch. Would highly recommend to anyone who wants to stay in the city area but also appreciates some quiet.
Really enjoyed our night here. Nice clean rooms, newly refurbished and large bathroom. Nice welcoming staff. Breakfast was good for being in Italy, with a fair amount of options. The location is excellent, close to nice less touristy restaurants, and also a square with lots of local bars and a beautiful Sunday morning market.
The Air Conditioner was unable to cool the room down to the level we would have liked but did keep the room from being stifling hot. The historic nature of the building, location and morning breakfast were all big pluses for our family.
