"Beautiful surroundings directly at the fjord. Cozy atmosphere around the folks at the hotel, the boss is very helpful and the country and western style goes perfectly with this part of Norway. Nothing negative. Everything is 'greit', as they say in Norway. Fine breakfast with lots of shrimps."

"The hotel is beautiful and situated in a lovely place for walking. It was also possible to walk down to the fjord. Transport via bus was excellent from nearby the hotel into Stavanger centre which was good as there are not many dining or local shopping opportunities in the area. A shame the bar at the hotel only accepted card payments - no cash option."

We paid extra for a harbour view which was lovely but we could not open the window or sit on the shared balcony because our room was next to a smoking room and the guests there exercised their right to smoke. "Good price for a simple room. Actually no staff. You use a pin number to enter the hotel and your room. Expedia was to send us the pin and room number, but didn't. Had to call (international call for me) to get the hotel to send me the pin and room number by text. But for the price, it was a good room and great part of the city to stay and walk around to many local restaurants and bars. "
