"Filthy and disgusting. I would not recommend this property to anyone. Smells like damp mouldy cheese that we later found out to be the drip tray behind the fridge. It was liquid and mouldy. "On arrival the hotel was clean, we arrived early and staff were very friendly, looked after our bags so we could go out. "The Cliff Hotel is beautiful. Although it is an old building it has been tastefully modernised. The room was clean and comfortable. We had a sea view which added to our stay. "We had a very comfortable stay. The bed was very restful and the water pressure for the shower was perfect. The rooms have a traditional vibe but having stayed in rooms with fancy marble bathrooms which leaked all over the place, or alternately froze or scalded you, this bathroom was a dream.
