"Our stay at Velassaru was amazing. We spent 12 days on the island, and did not want to leave... The level of service and dedication of the staff are beyond the words. The hotel is ideal for family or romantic getaway. The island is very small and that makes it really quiet and peaceful. You can see Male as it is really close by, but on the other hand you don't need to spent extra hours for getting to the island. Highly recommend this hotel to all lovers of the tranquil holidays."

"Just WOW!! Our whole stay was perfect, such friendly staff the island is lovely and green, we stayed in a beach villa right on the beach it was adults only section and the restaurant we had our meals was adults only as well. Meals were all excellent, plenty of choice and cooked perfectly. We were all inclusive as the drinks can add up $12.50 for mocktail and around $15/$16 for a cocktail. Mini bar in room for All Inc refilled everyday. On the all Inc we got the chance to play golf, 1 sun set...

"Amazing place, a piece of heaven. There is nothing here not to like. Charming staff who will give you the opportunity to think about nothing else but to immerse yourself in carefree everyday life. The rooms, services, food and of course the diving center deserve 5 stars. We were also pleasantly surprised by the not bad (for the Maldives) free internet on the island. "A beautiful sun kissed location only 20 mins from Male. The island and resort spoils you from the moment you are picked up to the time you leave.  We stayed at a beach villa which gave us an unobstructed view of the sunrise every morning, that plus watching the fins of the (harmless) black tip reef sharks circling was simply magical.
