"The hotel is located directly across the street from the beach with beautiful views from our room. The staff were really friendly and the facilities are all clean. There are two restaurants next door that have good food and drinks. The hotel is a little dated but the rooms are really good size on the large side. Location was great!"

"Funky old hotel nicely renovated. Top floor might have views of the ocean, but we're on the ground floor with a view of a construction site. Audible traffic sounds. But the staff is excellent, and there are numerous high-end coffee machines to start the morning with. Our space is clean and spacious enough. It's lovely, if a bit quirky like many old but renovated California hotels."

"It was a perfect weekend I booked two rooms and both were extremely clean and comfortable. The decor was nice as well. It was my birthday weekend and the staff gave me a bottle of champagne, the hotel is a quick walk away from the beach and downtown."
