This is our second time staying at this hotel. The staff is amazing, very friendly and helpful. The rooftop bar is great with good food and amazing views. The room was comfortable. And it’s in a great location, walkable to everything and close to a trolley stop. I highly recommend staying here if you ever go to Laguna Beach.

We really enjoyed our stay at La Casa del Camino. The location was perfect — close to the beach, restaurants, coffee spots, and shopping. The hotel had a fun, charming vibe and the staff was friendly and welcoming. Our room was clean and comfortable, and overall it was a great little getaway. Would definitely stay here again.

That was the tiniest room ever. The queen bed was pushed against the wall on one side. The bathroom smelled like sewer gas until we opened the window and the portable air-conditioner was SO loud. We would have loved to just open the bedroom window but it was literally screwed shut. Loved the location and the roof top bar though.

The staff were really helpful. But other than that, the property needs a lot of updating. The AC in the room is so loud. The rooms and the hallway need a lot of update. It feels like we stepped in few decades back and not in a good way. There is a stark difference between the lobby and the rooms. We stayed in one of the surf rooms. The carpet feels like it hasn’t been changed in years. The sofas in the room had lots and lots of lint, would definitely benefit from some upholstery work. The bathroom also didn’t feel clean, probably because it needs some change/ new fixtures. Regarding amenities, we only had decaf coffee in our room, no microwave. The bed was decent and comfortable. Overall, it wasn’t the best experience because of the property. The staff were really helpful regardless.
