"When we arrived we discovered that the room I had booked online would have been virtually inaccessible for my wife (she has serious mobility issues) -- cheaper rate, but located in a separate building with no elevator and several flights of steep stairs. The Surf Side staff went out of their way to find us an alternative room -- with ocean view! -- in the main building which has an elevator. And did so without charging extra! They were incredibly gracious. I should also mention that the hotel has beach access and a pool, and offers an outstanding breakfast (included in the room charge) that is as good as or better than what you would get at a restaurant. Plus wine tasting at 5pm and cookies at 8 to help the guests meet and get to know one another. This hotel is one of the best I've experienced anywhere and I'd recommend it without hesitation to anyone."

"I couldn’t give it five stars because the hotel is undergoing renovations right now on the outside, mainly painting mostly the balconies are being resurfaced in the back of the ocean side. Not sure if our room was already done or not but you can see the repairs they’re trying to get done probably quickly before the June rush starts!"
