"Amazing location and very comfortable rooms. Staff is nice, food is average, the spa has a lot of options and great service, the mini market is very handy and activities are great for people with small children. Would have been nice to have a bit more animation in the evening for grown ups, all inclusive cocktails are unfortunately really bad quality and we didn't like that you had to pay an extra for the premium option. Overall it's a good value for money option, but not really a 5 stars. "

The mansion is beautiful, our room was amazing with a private balcony and the pool looks over the valley and Heraklion. "Too expensive for what your got. Beds are HORRIBLE. Hard, like sleeping on a boxspring. Rooms are minimal. We didn’t even have a blanket. We had a bed spread which only covered half the bed. The toilette seat cover would fall down constantly when your going to the bathroom so either you had to hold it up if your were a man standing or it leaned against your back . The pool is a saltwater pool and not chlorine, which is nice, but you had to pay $2 for a pool towel which seems ridiculous...

"Everything is exactly as you expect! All of the staff we have interacted with have been the most caring and attentive people I have ever met, especially at the Makuti bar day in day out they even recommended us some films to watch. The pictures of the place you see are exactly what you get. If you are like us and do not often experience people waiting on you hand and foot it’s a surreal experience but something that makes the trip So amazing. The dining experience - just WOW! Food I have never tasted to be so amazing! Always have the lamb medium rare you won’t regret it. Welcome drinks on arrival and they let you enjoy everything how you want to not how they expect you too. I can’t thank everyone enough for my stay it’s been something I’ll never forget and nothing will live up to this. If you have the chance to come - you won’t regret it!! "
