"After spending 3 weeks touring New Zealand in a motorhome we dropped it off and headed to the George Hotel. It seemed like heaven,large room,very comfortable bed and we were met by friendly helpful staff. The following day we had to get to the airport but the roads were closed because of the marathon going past the hotel,they offered to help with bags to a place that the taxi could pick us up. Lovely little gingerbread bears and chocolates left in room on return from our meal. If we are ever...

Plunger coffee and a jug of milk supplied and replenished dailywhich we appreciated Bedroom was small but lounge very spacious and comfortable. Apartment didn’t have aircon or heat pump and in the current heat wave was very hot Nevertheless we thought this property was great. Recommended"
