"#not sponsored James Boutique Hotel has been the best hospitality experience in Europe so far. We arrived late in the night at Colmar so could not find a taxi. We had informed the hotel about this and asked them to arrange for a taxi. To our surprise, the hotel owner came himself to pick us up in his car. We cannot thank him enough for this gesture. "Luxury hotel in the center of Colmar. Everything was wonderful and the staff was attentive. You are in the center of everything, but you do not feel like you are in the center of everything. The park surrounding the hotel is beautiful and tranquil. All of the highlights of the city (Little Venice, City Centre) are within easy walking distance. "This property is in a wonderful location, easily walkable all around the town to shopping, restaurants and site seeing. When you walk inside, you are taken back to life from generations past. Very clean, staff is nice and accommodating too. "

"We had very poor to non existent wifi in our room on the 3rd floor. We were there for 4 nights and found a lack of storage in the room and washroom. We asked several times how old the building was and its history especially our room on steel stilts. No one seemed to know. The room was hot but we were able to keep the windows open as it was very quiet. We could have used an extra pillow as there was only 1 per be plus 1 extra would recommend this hotel"

No relaxing sitting in the bedroom but we spent a pleasant evening in the dining area downstairs. No tea making facilities in the room but a coffee machine and microwave by the reception are available.
