"We were able to check in a couple of hours early which was a bonus . We were greeted on arrival by the lovely host Melanie whom gave us info of the area and showed us on a map. The accommodation was outstanding, the photos do not do it justice at all. The little extras like the tea bags , milk in the fridge, fruit and croissants were all a really lovely touch. We had planned to walk a lot and see the sights , there is a bus stop almost outside the property which gets you to the train...

"Beautiful house in the old town, historic place - but with modern comfort (new Bathroom, cozy bed ...). They did a great job restoring it! We had a tiny kitchen with fridge, tea/coffee, a sitting room and there even was a fan. We didn't get the welcome email, but we just gave them a call and everything was handled perfectly. If you have problems with stairs, you should know there are two sets, the last quite narrow, because it's an old house. We would love to stay here again - highly recommend!...

"A convenient location, not too far for walking into town, but plenty of buses from the nearby stop. The room was comfortable, clean and quiet, at the back of the house. I was surprised that breakfast was not included, but probably my fault for not reading the details carefully. However, I eat very little at breakfast and felt that £12.50 was rather too much for my requirements. "

It's important to note that in our experience there was nearly no service: when we were there we did not meet a single staff member. But for us this was fine. "A lovely family-run guest house. Everything about the property is fantastic. They are helpful and kind. You can walk downtown or cross the street and take the bus, which passes every 10 minutes. There are shops, restaurants, and supermarkets close by. The room was clean and cosy."

"Practical code check in. Nice with a small kitchen available Carpet needs replacing, it was not clean upon arrival. Could have cleaned better in the bathroom too. Someone downstairs was smoking, which filled the entire stairwell, had to went our room as well. Good location for tourists, as it lies in walking distance of Christ Church."

The property was exactly as advertised, in a great location and was spotless. Also, having tea and coffee at the property is only a small touch but has a great impact and shows Manu cares for guests.
