"Our stay in Palazzo Salgar was nice, good for the price we paid, it was $168 CAD for the night. We were greeted with very friendly reception, and given a map and info about what to do in the area. Our room was clean, and was provided multiple soaps, vanity sets and shower caps. The property is well maintained, however the area surrounding the hotel is very run down with a lot of abandoned buildings and shops. "The hotel was located in close proximity to the main train station and major sites in the city. The room was fairly large, modern & clean. The area was quite busy, from a traffic standpoint, but the room was quiet. The desk personnel were all friendly and helpful. If I were to go to Naples again, I'd stay closer to the historic center, where there are many restaurants, shops & bars. "

"The staff was terrific. Very helpful and responsive. The hotel is a bit challenging to find as no cars are allowed on it's little cobblestone alleyway. Arriving in that area in Naples, with wall to wall graffiti everywhere is a bit disconcerting, especially at 7am when the streets are pretty deserted. However, by mid morning everything was bustling and we had a wonderful day, taking lots of suggestions from the hotel staff. "

"Great place to stay for a short-term in Naples. The room is very clean and the shower is nice! Bed was very comfortable as well and our room was very spacious. Only thing we didn't like about this place was the extra charges - we had to pay extra per night for AC (around 2.50 euro per night) and a water bottle (1 euro). This was the only hotel that charged us extra for AC when we travelled throughout northern and southern Italy. The staff was friendly but not always around unfortunately but...
