Property needs updating. I like that they let us check in early. When we got to our room, there was old trash from prior guest, as well as hair in sink. Bed and pillows were very uncomfortable. There were ants in room and mini fridge was leaking. Location was good but overall wouldnt stay here again.

Nice stay

we had a nice stay, stayed at the hotel for a week. The hotel is located near the Centro Storico. Here you have walking distance to many interesting sights. But Napoli is a very noisy city and the city is flooded with garbage.

What I liked the most about this property was the area. Very close to the attractions and touristy areas. Good beds and decent size rooms. Only bad thing is the area is very noisy at night and not the best clean looking city but that’s not the hotels fault. Overall a decent hotel and receptionist there are very helpful.

This place was so cute! We were 3 adults and two children. They had an amazing breakfast that came as a perk through Expedia and a rooftop terrace that we sat outside and drank wine on. Our bed was a pull out sofa which was not very comfortable, but everything else was great. The location was not in a tourist area and close to the famous Pizzeria Da Michele.

Pleasant and peaceful

We chose Hotel San Michele because we wanted to be near the railroad station but not directly on big, busy Piazza Garibaldi. This hotel turned out to be a great base for exploring the center of the city—we were able to walk to the duomo and other major points of interest. Our room was clean, spacious, and quiet, and the building seemed to have been recently renovated. The staff was incredibly helpful when we arrived a little earlier than expected. The desk clerks all spoke English as well as Italian. Ample and tasty breakfast, with the option of sitting on a rooftop terrace. We'd be happy to stay here again.

The front desk staff at this hotel is fantastic. Very helpful, speaks english very well, and will bend over backward to help guests. The hotel is located in a very sketchy part of Naples, but close to the train/metro station. The room are modern and clean but the AC does not work very well and couldn't keep up with the Italy summer heat. We had trouble sleeping at night because it was so hot in our room. Not the hotel fault, but we couldn't wait to get out of Naples. The city is quite dirty and we felt unsafe most of the time.

My family and I spent one night at this hotel. We had a wonderful stay. Maritza at reception was very helpful, checked us in quickly, and after we settled in she provided us with maps, food recommendations, which sites to see, and the closest metro lines to travel around. At checkout provided us directions to the port. The room was really nice with a double and twin, kitchenette with a medium size fridge and freezer, dining table, 2 closets, and a desk. Has blackout shadea which was great to sleep in. It was very clean. The shower could use an upgrade but it was fine. The location is great as there are shops, bars, and restaurants in walking distance. It's down a side street which has a few closed places. Naples is more of an urban city that provides great food, shopping, and diversity. Highly recommend.

Location is good because there are lots of options to eat around it, but we did not like the hotel in general. It did not look clean and Napoli in general is a super dirty city. The shower was clogged for the 4 nights we were there, even when we reported the issue the first day. The TV was not working and they came the second day to replace it for a smaller one and left the holes on the wall visible. We had an issue with the second key, which disappeared from the room, we do not know how because it was on top of the table, probably the same day they came to change the TV, and we were charged 20 euros for it. We never used it, but we actually don't know how it disappeared, so we had to pay for it. Ihave to say staff was very nice, but I do not recommend this hotel.

Air conditioning did not work. We were stuck staying and sleeping in a room with no air circulation. The walls were not one bit sound proof we heard everything from all around us. Outdoors especially was very noisy making it hard for us to fall asleep. The beds let’s not go there, they were not comfortable at all squeaked with every single move we made. Literally felt the springs in my spinal cord. Pillow and sheets were dirty. Towels smelled of white vinegar. We wanted to put our personal belongings in our safe in the room. We contacted the front desk. They were unable to assist us, forcing us to take all our stuff with us walking around the streets. Now for the worst part which could have led me to having a concussion and being rushed to the hospital: I was using the shower head (1 out of the 2 which worked) and it suddenly broke from the drain fell straight on my head I fell on the floor, the water went all over the washroom. After this occurred the 2 next guests with me were obviously unable to shower. As mentioned 1 out of the 2 did not work the first one did not work as water was coming out from all sides of the top shower head besides from all he holes. I can’t even explain it I have never seen such an unfunctional shower. I informed the reception about what had occurred and all we got was I am sorry to hear and continued by asking us to pay for the city tax of 12 measly euros did not offer anything to us to compensated. We are very angry with our entire stay

Room is large and clean, however shower was a make shift shower which leaked all over the bathroom floor. Also, for some reason at night, both our room and our friends room one floor above had the smell of the drains come back into our bathrooms. We both had to let water flow in sink and shower for a few minutes for the smell to go away. If you are looking for just a place to sleep in a large bed, this is good. If you are looking for a comfortable hotel, not recommended.

Friendly staff. Hotel is in a central are but the neighborhood is dirty. The room was very comfortable and the AC worked great!
