"We stayed in the cottage and it was exceedingly charming and comfortable. Staff were truly kind and gracious, and we had two great meals at the main restaurant. The nature trail on the property was a nice bonus. Great location near the national park and close to other restaurants, too. Staying at the Kilauea Lodge was the highlight of our trip."

"If only we could have stayed longer! We had booking the glamping unit, but because of water issues Theresa switched us to the Bungalow, which was so cosy. She agreed alternative breakfast arrangements as we had to leave early on checkout. We only had time to meet the chickens and ducks at the doorstep, but we saw the donkey and goats sheltering from the rain! I would definitely recommend staying here if you're making a trip to Volcano NP. "

"A nice place, but limited check in times. Property a bit remote. . Room a bit damp,,, so had to use dehumidifier (which wasn’t on the hotel description!!!!!). Not high on the list to return to. "

"Every detail has been thought of! The room was beautiful, spacious, comfortable, and had everything you could need!! You really feel like you have your own private jungle bungalow. Slept like a rock in the comfy bed and the rain on the roof! Eric and Chris were SO great, wish we had more time to chat with them. next time :) It's super close to the park. Will be sending many people their way. Stop looking around and book this place!!"

"Hands-down the best place we stayed during our 2.5 week trip to Hawaii! Barry and Jim were wonderful hosts, we were greeted by Barry as soon as we arrived! He helped get us settled in and showed us around the cabin. The cabin comes stocked with breakfast items, coffee, and fresh fruits! It is located close to Volcanos National Park, so it was perfect for my husband and I since we love hiking! The cabin was spotless and the bed was very comfortable! "We absolutely loved staying at this secluded and peaceful location. The tropical forest surrounding us with its melodies was quite enjoyable!! We spent our days exploring and our nights reminiscing on the large porch and enjoyed every minute of it. Loved the large home with a full kitchen and lots of space to unwind. The beds were very comfortable and the large parking area was nice. A little sad that there was no laundry machines available only because it rained often and everything was so damp...
