"This was our loveliest stay in Chincoteague yet! Went with a bigger group this year and this property was perfect. Everything was super clean, decorated beautifully, etc...We had everything we needed. The renter was amazingly kind and communicative, even gave us an amazing tip for taking in the sunset. Will absolutely try to book again!"

"We loved the stay we had. The breakfast was great and we enjoyed getting it every morning: the coffee/tea bar is simple but hot & plentiful. The staff was always pleasant and helpful if we had a question. We did use the pool and hot tub and both were nice. We liked all the plants at the pool. The ponies were fun to interact with outside. Parking seemed easy and available. We will definitely return if we ever come back to Chincoteague "

"We enjoyed the Island Resort and always like to stay there. We had a third floor room which had a beautiful view of the bay side, especially during sunset. The room was clean with comfortable furniture and loved having 2 sinks. The bed was adequate and a pillow topper would have made it just perfect but for a few nights, it's okay. "

"We stayed in a Deluxe double queen room with a fantastic waterside view! The sheets and towels were soft and fluffy and there were plenty of warm blankets! We loved how quiet the area was which is part of the idea behind the deluxe rooms. Our least favorite thing is the breakfast area. First, it is too small. Second, the choices are quite limited. "The people that work there are PHENOMENAL. The place is a little older but had all the island life amenities we needed. A soft, clean bed. A hot shower with good pressure. And black out curtains. Our room also had a kitchenette and a big mini fridge. Employees were kind and attentive. Great seafood restaurant up the road a bit, amazing access to the National Seashore.
