"The Empress is in a great location. The bus stop from the airport is extremely close (4). This id ideal for exploring the whole island. Staff were very friendly, we dropped off luggage prior to check in. The hotel seems to have recarpeted throughout and underlay very comfortable. "Hotel was being worked on(which was fine). Our room looked into a service area which was quite a mess and could be cleaned up a bit. Rooms could be serviced towels changed, bins emptied, tea coffee replenished more frequently Everything else was good. Breakfast excellent. Rooms clean and large. "Love the location, rooms are beautiful and setting is idyllic. The only thing I could say is you have a designated bathroom for each room and our bathroom kept being used by other people staying in the property. Men who don’t clean up after themselves! "The property is your typical Victorian BnB and only a block back from the Promenade. The staff were very polite and attentive and the included breakfast was good.
