"I booked one night at Seahorse room the last weekend to have a short trip with my friends. Colin and Dena were so nice and helpful, and gave us a warm welcome tour of the house. The room was super clean, lovely and the ocean view was incredible!! Highly recommended!"

"The room was good. No one else was at the motel since it is still off season so very quiet. There should be instructions for the TV and the heater in the room because we could not get the temperature regulated nor find regular TV stations. We had an excellent meal at L’Acadie restaurant nearby within walking distance. "

"Very comfortable stay. Room was spacious, beds comfortable, quiet. The restaurant was excellent including the continental breakfast. One of the best seafood chowder I ate on our trip. The staff was very friendly and pleasant. Would definitely stay here again. "

"The owner and staff were so kind and each room is decorated in a really cute and cozy way. I felt like I was transported back to the 1800s with the homemade quilt vibe next door to a Catholic cemetery dating back to 1843 was incredible - plus being across the street from the Public Gardens and next door to a delicious French Bistro by Liz AND the most amazing Happy Veal Hot Pot - and I only walked 1 km from my bus stop! (Maritime Bus) Perfect way to enjoy Halifax."

" As this property is under renovation, they’re were some things that were Awkward. Particularly the lack of plug-ins. But the breakfast meet up for it. Our room was an upgrade, and the staff was very willing to help."

"We really enjoyed our stay. The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff right from check in were very polite and accommodating. The bed was super comfortable with lots of pillows and blankets. The only concern we had was the lights outside of our room were so bright they illuminated our room, making it hard to sleep. We would definitely stay here again but recommend some room darkening curtains. "
