Good location close to downtown. Dormitory living and very basic. Kind and helpful young staff. I was rarely at the room but a place to sleep and Wi-Fi. The cost was low compared to a hotel. Thanks for the stay

This is a dorm, which is fine. Shared bathrooms, which is ok. Just they only give towels and soap for one day, they don’t refresh the rooms.

There was a mouse in our room. We had booked for 7 days, and unfortunately we’re not allowed to use the kitchen so we had to get drinking water from the shared bathroom sinks. University itself was nice though.

-Poor wifi, (always disconnect) -Laundry needs to do coin operated for guest (it is card operated- we don’t have card) -No microwave oven to heat food so I eat my cold left over food. - i did not enjoy my stay…. I checked out early… ( 2 days early)

We have stayed in several university residences open to the public in the summer season and this one was chosen, in Halifax, because it listed all items provided for our stay including sheets. All university summer services do not provide sheets as parts of supplies. 2 other university accommodations did not provide bedding in their accommodation. Always read the list of items provided!

There was construction happening in the building while we were staying, which they didn’t disclose. There were also mice traps in the hall near our room, communal washrooms were dirty, and they left the windows open despite it being freezing. Had to check out early due to the conditions. Would not recommend.
