Lovely room overlooking the lake. Staff was mostly friendly and competent. Loved having the boat shuttle just outside the hotel. Bar needs more beer options.

Very nice hotel right on the lake. Easy access to downtown Zurich by boat or train both of which are right by the property. Rooms are updated but small compared to American hotel rooms and no air conditioning.

Wow! Loved this hotel! The decor is stunning, the beds are super comfy, the location on the lake is dreamy, and the breakfast was excellent! We loved being on the lake and away from the hustle and bustle of the city. We also the loved the historic appeal of many of the rooms. The sauna was enjoyable and an added bonus. Will return one day!

This hotel is so close to both the train and boat stations, that getting into Zurich or to Rapperswil is too easy. The Bier Garten is absolutely perfect in atmosphere. The restaurant is fine dining and the breakfast is a must. The hotel is the best of Swiss hospitality and comfort.

The hotel was beautiful and the staff were friendly and welcoming. They were helpful with any question we had. There were a lot of events occurring on property so the parking area got crowded but the car attendant did a great job moving cars to accommodate. The hotel was also beautifully decorated for the holidays!

This hotel has outstanding service. The ladies and gentlemen at the front desk made us feel right at home and were so helpful with all of our questions. The wait staff at the restaurant were top notch going above and beyond our expectations. Then there’s the beer garden. Hot and cold food made to order, and drinks prepared expertly at the bar. All of this with seating right on Lake Zurich. Excellent experience!!!

Booked the day before staying. Head of the bed tilted down. Could hear the wedding party as if the bed was on the dance floor. Room overpriced again last minute. Food good as always. Nice lake views; occasional bad smells (3 times in two weeks); regular restaurant service is good in the newly reopened Stuebli it is fair at best; while food was great, waiters did not remove empty bread plates and champagne glasses at all, wine service was mediocre, guests closed the door while staff did not thus creating drafts. Maybe just reopening issues? Overall staff was very good. Easy train access into the city. Nice walks along the Tobelweg.

We checked in to the hotel and had to wait for a room. No problem… but we asked for a water view room. Every other hotel on the trip upgraded us. Not here. They had rooms available for an extra $175. per nite. Our room looked over the road. It was so small we could not lay our luggage out. Could barely walk around the room. Thomas in dining was great and engaging. Won’t go back there ever.

Our stay here was exceptional! The staff were all courteous, thoughtful and helpful. On our first night we needed a crib for our toddler so they immediately brought one up, put brand new sheets on it and gave my daughter a rubber ducky. This is only one example of the extraordinary service we received. Our room was nice and clean and the view was beautiful. We also loved to sit outside in their outdoor eating area for gelato and to see beautiful lake Zurich. My daughter loved that there was a small playground there for her. They also have a small private beach where my husband loved to go for early morning swims in the lake (he was able to ask for a beach towel at reception as it was end of May and towels were not out yet). If you walk a bit further past their beach area, there are multiple parks to see, overall very beautiful. The location of the hotel is perfect! It is located at the Küsnacht ferry stop, so just one short ride away from Zurich city center. Because of this ferry and the fact that the train station to the airport is a couple minutes walk across the street, a car was not necessary. When I am in Zurich again, I will definitely stay here again!
