The Mandarin Hotel is always a good choice, but there were a few missteps with the in room dining and housekeeping service, which was disappointing, given the reputation of this hotel. On the positive side, the rooms were spacious and well appointed, and the staff very helpful and courteous. The location is ideal as it is close to shopping and the old town for sightseeing.

Great location, amazing staff

From walking through the door you well welcomed, amazing staff, super helpful I requested some dining locations in where they said they would walk me around the corner to personally show my options, never had that ever in traveling. The bar and restaurant staff were perfect. The location was great for walking. I read the reviews prior to going so I have to agree that the room was super small, but clean, comfortable and well appointed. I was by myself with just a carry on so it was fine for me, if I had larger luggage and another person with me it would have been another story. Note there is a hub for trains just to the side of the building, so like others it is loud and goes on forever, did not effect my stay but I could see how others would be not happy with it. Overall I loved it
