"Hotel is fairly new and very clean. Marriot branded hotel. Great rooftop pool, with nice bathroom facility overlooking the city from top floor.
Room is very clean and spacious.
Close to shopping but I don’t have a chance to visit. Traffic is always a disaster if driving in Taiwan…..which has nothing to do with the hotel.
Staff are professional. Will definitely stay again if in Taipei "
"We chose the Greatt Hotel for its location - 1 block from the Shilin Night Market (one of the best in Asia) and close to the Shilin train station - straight shot to CKS Memorial and convenient 15-minute bus to National Palace Museum. It is a bit spartan, but the rooms are clean and the bathroom was great. Reception was very nice and useful but did not speak English - the use of Google Translate solved all problems. I definitely recommend this hotel."
"Convenient and affordable updated facilities. It is fairly no frills but provided all essentials. Bathroom ceilings above the shower/Tubs have visible mold growth. Otherwise very clean. Bed was definitely on the firmer side but not entirely uncomfortable. Staff was always friendly and happy to assist however they can. Would definitely recommend."
"Automated check in was easy enough. Staff spoke English and was very helpful with my questions. Good clean accommodations. 10 min walk to the Shilin night market."

"Very nice part of town, a little bit off the beaten path but if you don't mind walking shinlin was just a few minutes away and had my favorite night market from the whole city. Extremely safe to get around, therevwere plenty of maybach and Rolls-Royces in the valet while we were there. Crossing the street does require your utmost attention so make sure you watch a few instructional videos before you get there! The scooters are incredibly prevalent "
"Incredibly friendly staff. We got there very early in the morning because our flight was late, and the gentleman at the front desk wan very welcome and friendly, which is what we really needed at that time. The room was super spacious, quiet, and clean. We had an amazing rest before adventurous the next day. We will definitely stay here again. "
