"The place seemed a little like something out of a horror film. The room itself was nice (the balcony door was broken which was disappointing) but the actual facility is nothing like the pictures. I never saw a staff person (not sure if there is even breakfast available) and the place was completely dark and dead even though I got there during the supposed check in time. Definitely bring water and snacks for your stay. "

"Loved this cute inn, in the heart of Hallstatt. I thought not having a private bathroom was going to be an issue but it was not. There are two showers and WCā€™s and weā€™re available when we needed them. Staff was super friendly and offered to help with our luggage. I donā€™t recommend bringing large suitcases as there are two flights of steep stairs. We ate a quick meal there when we arrived and before we left and were satisfied both time. We loved sitting on our balcony and sipping some wine from the local store down the street and enjoying the views in the evening. There is a nice common area with a microwave, small refrigerator, tea kettle and instant coffee and tea available free of charge. Overall a great stay in a beautiful little town."
