"I have stayed at the Esplanade several times over the years. It changes little but always seems fresh. I noticed they have dropped the door keys with the large tassels for tap keys. Shame but it will not stop me stayong again! This is a top European elegance hotel. Rooms are large. I was recognised and upgraded. It has a lovely terrace and memorablr breakfast. I look forward to my next stay. "

"The hotel is in an amazing location, walking distance to upper and lower town and on the tram line. Reception was lovely and helpful. The room is very small and no lift if you have bags to take to the 2nd floor. Breakfast is nice and in a lovely setting. "
