"This is such a lovely hotel, we had a twin room on the top floor. The room was clean and comfortable and had a lot of charm. We had breakfast twice and there is plenty to choose from the menu. We also had an evening meal, the prawn cocktail was delicious and they are not shy on the prawns it seemed endless and very fulfilling,followed by salmon and potatoes that was cooked perfectly. The staff were so nice and helpful and nothing was to much .The property itself is a 15 min walk from the train...

"Nice friendly welcome from the gentleman working the bar on arrival Thursday 23rd October around 2pm, booked in and explained about breakfast, evening meals, on-site parking and what was happening at the pub over coming days. Shown to our room which was nice and bright, very clean and comfortable. The building dates from the 1700s so expect uneven floors and squeaky floor boards and lots of character in a nice way and things that catch your eye. Beautifully dressed for Halloween. The breakfast...
