"Lovely apartment in a historic building, ideally located just outside the city centre, but within easy walking distance of all places of interest in York. "We were expecting something special for the £175 we paid for this “deluxe” double. We were very disappointed to be given a ground floor, small double. This was next to the front door and on the fairly busy road. Disturbed by a drunken hen party knocking on the door as they couldn’t be bothered to find their key. The onsite staff had gone by 5:30 when they’re supposed to be there until 8:00pm. Our room was really hot. We had to ring the emergency number for a fan, the manager living half an hour...

"We payed extra for a suite only to find out we where in a separate building away from the hotel and as it was raining most the time we never used the hotel we had no water one morning parking was very limited my advice would book a room that is in the hotel , the room was ok but never had the experience of enjoying the amenities of the hotel The hotel had a nice outdoor area nice furniture etc our building had some old furniture uncared for good location 20 min walk to center of York"
