"The inn was built in 1903 and opened in 1904. It is absolutely incredible to see what they built at the time. The wood structure is beautiful and it really is a treat to stay there and be able to walk over to Old faithful and all the other geysers and springs. It was a treat to stay one night. I wouldn't stay more than a night but it's great to stay because after 5pm it clears out and at 6am hiking along the trails to see the pools and geysers and seeing a sunset with very few people was a...
"Very clean and super cute rustic feeling rooms. Not too long of a drive to Yellowstone, worth it for the price savings of this room compared to West Yellowstone hotels. We would stay again. Only downfall was the walls are very thin, and our neighbors were loud - but luckily they didn’t stay up too late or this may have been a problem. (We could hear footsteps above us as well) "
"Quiet and peaceful. Very nice staff, with sensible advice about how to visit Yellowstone park. Beautiful views from the hotel and town.
Nice remodel of an older motel in a tiny mountain town. Excellent laundry facilities at the hotel. Tasty dinner of bison steak at the Beartooth cafe. Great value and perfect location. For us. "
"Lovely cabins set against a beautiful backdrop with great wifi. Our cabin was a bit hot when we arrived at 10 pm but that was quickly fixed by unplugging the heater. The service was "streamlined" so they send texts and phone up to see how you are doing, but the management was very friendly."
"Very nice spacious rooms in such a quiet location with a beautiful river overlook area on the back patio area. We would definitely want to stay here any time we are in Gardiner!"
"Our stay was wonderful. The view is to die for, the bed was so comfortable and while off grid and cool at night, they do provide heaters we didnt opt for one and were completely comfortable and warm in the bedding provided. They do have a food truck on site, hours can be effected by weather and the roaming cows, which you may have to shoo from your tent (we did not) but overall definitely worth the stay! "
