"Clean room, large bathroom, well situated. I didn’t try the pool as it was very shaded and not the most inviting. Gym was small but served its purpose. Most of the hotel staff were lovely though we did encounter some people who weren’t so helpful. We would return. "

"We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Caribe in Merida, Mexico. Location is very convenient to the cathedral, the central square, and all the downtown areas.The staff were friendly and helpful and we enjoyed the breakfasts and swimming in the rooftop pool. The property is an old catholic high school converted into a hotel years ago. The courtyard is very pretty with two Mamey fruit trees and a fountain. The rooms could use some freshening (paint) and cleaning especially the tile headboard area behind the beds. "
