"Initially, when I messaged the property before going on my vacation they never bothered to reply. I waited a whole week, I called & was connected to their central reservation service. They gave me incorrect information that bus 18 stops directly outside the hotel, it’s 10mins walk from the bus stop. The hotel is away from the main tourist areas, I mostly used uber, Tram 13 stops 3/5mins walk from the hotel but currently due to some changes it’s not going directly to the Amsterdam Centraal Station. You need to get Tram 17 first & then change to Tram 13. Their bathroom is appalling, it gets flooded when you have a shower or wash your face (if you are of petite structure like me). Secondly, there’s a section behind the bed with hangers, it’s not designed for short people perhaps a very very tall person. Lastly, the room is poorly lit, if you want to enjoy & read a book, there’s no proper headrest. I really did not enjoy my stay at this hotel. However, the staff tried to make my stay a bit comfortable. I was offered free breakfast for the duration of my stay & a fruit basket was left in my room as an apology but I didn’t get the chance to have any of that. I am very disappointed with Leonardo Rembrandt Amsterdam. It was waste of money & added stress to have booked this hotel."

"Arrived at hotel, we got our room on the third floor. We were in our room 5 minutes and we had drilling on our wall, not a good start. We went to reception to ask what the noise was. They pointed to a frame with a notice stating construction work in the hotel from 10am to 6pm. The receptionist said it can run over too. We never got informed while booking this hotel that it has major construction work or when we checked in, we would never had booked this hotel as we wanted a relaxing holiday. We asked to be moved to a different side of the hotel in the hope not to hear construction work. The meal at night (dinner menu) was only good for one evening as it didn’t change. Burger/pizza. The following night we asked if they had toppings for the pizza ( only offer plan) unfortunately no toppings, so we went to the restaurant next to the Spar shop outside the hotel. We didn't eat breakfast at this hotel as we dont eat big breakfasts, €20 per person for a buffet breakfast. The Spar next door has pastries/coffee/water/ fresh orange juice. The hotel is 35-40 minutes on the bus to the city centre of Amsterdam ( train station)"

"This hotel and its wonderful staff saved our honeymoon! Our original hotel lost our booking and gave us the smallest room with a communal bathroom instead of the en suite we paid for. We tried to tough it out but since we hadn’t brought shower shoes or toiletry baskets for a shared bathroom situation and wanted more privacy and comfort, we found a room at The Tire Station and went there to book it. The staff at the front desk/coffee bar were so welcoming and helpful that we immediately knew we made the right decision. Our room was spacious and clean with a huge window overlooking the street and nearby canal. Only issue was that there was a bit of mold in the shower, but everything else seemed clean and new. It is a quick walk to Surinameplein tram station, Vondelpark, and Cafe Schinkelhaven. They have a half price coffee hour from 8 to 9 AM and a free glass of wine for guests from 5 to 6 PM. We had the breakfast one day and it was delicious! Eggs, granola, yogurt, cheese, bread, pastries, and lots of vegan options as well. Again, the staff was amazing and friendly and we would love to go back someday—maybe for our anniversary! Thank you! "
