"Building has lots of character and a friendly cat! Staff all very nice, room large and comfy bed. Shower a little low and weak but large bathroom. Great breakfast cooked to order. "

"The staff were very helpful and welcoming on arrival. I had a comfortable and clean room. I had a good bathroom with good lighting and a good shower door so no water leaking out onto the floor which can often happen in hotels. The breakfast was good. So I enjoyed my stay. Thank you to the staff and I will book again to stay here when in the Taunton area. "

"Basic hotel which is fine for the price but the whole hallway smelt musty and strange and the room also had a damp/cabbage smell. Which meant all our coats and clothes smelt too and we only stayed for 1 night. The staff were friendly though. Hotel needs updating."
