Hilton Southampton - Utilita Bowl

"This is a very lovely hotel, set in beautiful surroundings. We were ecstatic that the room was ready several hours before the standard check-in and we were allowed to go straight to it. The room was large, very clean and the views were soothing. The surrounding areas were walkable with several convenient shops and restaurants nearby. the only drawback: the room service food was bland and expensive"

"When we arrived after a long hot journey I would have liked a drink and to relax Almost every table had many many glasses and bottles on them , even outside We did find a table and it was dirty I ordered food and drink and rewards app , but the young guy that served me wasn’t concentrating and I know he didn’t apply it as it was 5%dicount and he short changed me £2 I was tired and hungry I could t be bothered to argue the fact at all The room had a very funny smell smelt like dog ( not sure they allow ) , the only window was the bathroom , not nice at all"

"Our usual place to stay when visiting family in the area. Good location and decent size car park. Pub/grill has a good crew working there, nice drink selection and food. Don’t do breakfast as weekend times don’t work for us."

"The room was nice and clean .The issues was the handle for flashing the toilet you had to do it several times for it to flash. The fridge was not working. The WiFi was poor . The swimming you had to pay £5 per person for one hour. In the breakfast area it not organised when it comes to food refilling."

"On arrival first room the a/c was not working - moved to another room told the a/c would be set up before we returned from an evening out. On our return the second a/c was also not working and a fan had been set up in our room. Considering it was the hottest bank holiday ever we spent a very uncomfortable night in our room and was very relieved to leave early morning."

"Pleasant hotel but rather isolated from shops and amenities despite not being far from the city centre. No meal provided in the evening due to restaurant being closed on Sundays and no bar either. Which meant a trek up the road to a pub to get anything to eat and drink. I would not book again. Staff were all pleasant and helpful so no complaints there."

"I have stayed in this hotel twice. I do not want to give details but it is not a kind of hotel you can rest properly. For Southampton the price is reasonable, but it is not everything when you need a good rest."

"Great location within walking distance from station. Very welcoming staff and clean rooms. They state clearly no air conditioner. Very friendly breakfast staff and delicious breakfast."
