This was just the start of the care and attention we found during our stay. The room was beautiful and very well appointed, the rest of the hotel (guest house seems too reductive) equally beautiful. A quiet, relaxing, place with fabulously attentive staff who were just so willing to help. The styling and attention to detail were second to...

"Lovely clean room. Staff very friendly and informative about local attractions. Good choice of breakfast. Plenty of parking."

"Excellent room; responsive staff is committed to service. Use driveway to the LEFT (downhill) of the house. Parking can be tricky in small lot, but help is available. Phone is needed for initial entry if staff is off-site (room key is in lock box and a phone call provides the code). I had a very happy and comfortable stay."

"This was the best B&B by far I have ever stayed in. The room was spotless and a very comfy bed. The full Cumbrian breakfast was delicious and plenty of it, There was also a good alternative menu aswell. But if you decide to have an evening meal you are in for a real treat. Darryl is a trained Chef and the meals he serves are amazing."
