I stayed here many years ago with my husband and was looking forward to going back to stay in the jetted tub room for a nice date night. I was surprised and disappointed at how run down the place has become. The furnace rattled and howled when running, the condition of the furnishings was poor, the blankets were thin and worn, the towels were equally thin and only two were provided, random stains on the furnishings, mattress and carpet, the tv placement was not practical, the fireplace did not work, the freezer was missing the door, only 3 pillows on a king size bed with no dust cover over the mattress. I won't be coming back, there are plenty of nice hotels in Whitecourt, I won't waste my money here again.

Place slaps it's exactly the correct amount of dated motel for the person that prefers the quiet and more relaxed vibe of a old motel. It is what it is and you know what it is it fills its role perfectly.

Positive- next time I’m in White Court. I will definitely eat at the restaurant. I had French onion soup and a bacon and tomato sandwich which was without parallel. Even compared to popular restaurants like Mr Mike or Boston Pizza. Service was fast, friendly, and the meal was only $10. Negative- what was called a non-smoking room had evidently been smoked in and did not smell good. Overall cleanliness of the room similarly was not great.
