"The Crystal Lodge is centered in the best possible location in Whistler Village, with bike rentals, hot tub, heated pool, restaurant, and bar all within a 2 minute walk from any room...plus within a 5 minute walk to 4 different chair lifts and gondolas...The staff are very accommodating AND It is more reasonably priced and intimate than the obnoxious mega-sized monsters that are currently being built"
"Overall, we had a great stay. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The tap water quality was excellent, which was a pleasant surprise.
One thing that did stand out was the reusable water bottle provided in the room. The inside of the lid had mold on it. It wasn’t in a hard-to-reach area and could have been cleaned easily with a cloth, so that was disappointing.
We also really enjoyed the sauna and the hot tub. My only suggestion would be to have a shared hot tub near the sauna, if possible. Since we were traveling as a family with children, having separate men’s and women’s sauna areas made it difficult for us to relax together. A common hot tub nearby would make the experience much more family-friendly.
Another thing that wasn’t clear during the booking process was the additional $28 per day parking fee. It would have been helpful to know this in advance. We also only found out at check-in that some rooms do not have air conditioning. In today’s day and age, we were quite surprised that this is still an option. Thankfully, the front desk staff were very friendly and upgraded us to an air-conditioned room at no extra charge, which we really appreciated.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend the hotel. A few improvements in communication during the booking process and a little more attention to details like the reusable water bottles would make the experience even better."
"Family friendly, spacious rooms with fully functioning kitchenette. The property is located near two beautiful lakes outside of the main whistler/ Blackcomb village."
