"Canyon Village was a great stay overall because of the location and amenities. The rooms are pretty standard. The great thing is there is filtered water and an ice machine available in each building. It's ideally located close to the Yellowstone Grand Canyon. We easily got to Hayden Valley, Lamar Valley, Yellowstone Lake, Old Faithful, the hot springs, and Mammoth Hot Springs from our location. We were walking distance to the cafeteria and shops in Canyon Village. You had descent food options at Canyon Village. The only issues we had were with the cleanliness and stocking of the rooms. When we arrived, the toilet was clearly not cleaned. We called the front desk and they sent someone very quickly to clean the toilet. However, that made me feel like the whole place in general wasn't clean. We opted to have our sheets changed daily, although we did put up our "do not disturb sign" every once in awhile. Every time our room was cleaned, our dirty towels were left in the room. When our toilet paper was low, it was not replaced. We had to call for extra toilet paper. And our shampoo dispenser was filled with hand soap. After two nights of strange, thin, lack of foaming shampoo, I called the front desk. They were gracious and replaced it with actual shampoo. Overall, we had a great stay and would stay here again. But I would be prepared to request for things to be done. Everyone was very nice about it."
"Parking was sufficient, the food at the lodge was not good in my opinion, but the restaurant in the hotel was great. The Cabins are a bit old but they served its purpose we slept, shower, and had no issues. "
"Room was just what we needed for the trip to Yellowstone National Park. It was clean and comfortable. The log construction and decoration was in the theme of the area. The location was ideal for convenient travel to park and access to eating in town. The staff was accommodating of our (very) late arrival. No delay to get in the room to rest."
"The place was great. The rooms were clean and the breakfast was awesome. I definitely suggest getting the breakfast there. It’s nice to be at a hotel where people serve you and clean up the tables that was very helpful with two little kids. My only issue was that the AC unit didn’t seem to be working and the microwave had a little to no power. Other than that, the property was great it was in a great location and the parking was y as well. The beds and pillows were super comfortable and the blankets were actually nice blankets not the cheap blankets. You usually see at hotels there’s no conditioner in the shower so make sure you bring conditioner if you use it.
Good choice if you have a little kids as there is a playground right across the street that has stuff for all ages."
