"Told on arrival no food as they said working on kitchen, dining room not open or any room service. Hotel isn't that close to other places either. Not even snacks or sandwiches or hot drinks other than those in the room. They could have provided a temporary provision. Instead told get a takeaway delivered and even delivery drivers took a long time given location. This hotel should not be trading as a 3 star hotel without any catering or any food. Room was cold also as heating on a timer so had to get hotel to provide a fan heater. Only one pillow on beds too low. All together a poor stay, shame as hotel so. Much potential and character. "

"Rooms are very clean and have everything you need. Beds are very comfy. Only problem was how loud the room doors slam, very annoying for getting a good sleep and can be quite loud if your room is facing onto the car park as the bar area gets busy and a lot of people stand outside to smoke etc quite late at night. Other than that, great place to stay with great amenities"

"Friendly and welcoming staff. Room was as you'd expect for the price, bed was a bit uncomfortable but clean, and the shower / bathroom was great (hot water, powerful shower). Loads of parking , just heading round the side as the front looks very sketchy!"

"Great room,clean, comfortable and perfect for our one night stay. Great bath and shower with plenty of hot water. Enjoyed a lovely carvery meal in the evening but skipped breakfast as we had a long drive. Food menu very comprehensive and very reasonably priced. Lovely staff."
