"Visited on Monday 15 June. No staff to check in, just a door bell to security they then let you in to get your key from a key safe inside. No dinner or bar on Monday nights so went to the pub over the road. Double Room petite and bijou but adequate. Left before breakfast so did not speak to any staff during our stay!!!! On our previous visit we did have a very nice breakfast. Recommend it but don’t expect to be pampered, more like an Air B&B at least on a Monday or Tuesday."

Although it is advertised on numerous websites that the rooms are air conditioned the airconditioning had broken so there was nothing on the hottest day of the year. "The property is in need of an update . There was an old radio in the room, and pant presser. The toilet seat needs a new one. The carpet needs changing for wood flooring . The bed however was comfortable . Air conditioning would have been appropriate as the fan only distributes the hot air. It was cooler outside in the shade than in the room.
