"Rooms were comfortable, pretty and had everything we needed. We had lots of options for breakfast and it was delicious. The hosts are welcoming and the village is so pretty. We loved our stay here."

"What a wonderful B&B to stay at, so close to Thursford Christmas Spectacular show, literally a 5 minute walk away. The staff ( who are employed by Thursford) are so charming and very accommodating with every wish and desire. Everything was spotless and every amenity you could ask for in the room (Ivy). The choice of breakfast ( of which there is plenty) is excellent and cooked fresh to order. Would we stay there again? A resounding Yes and thankyou again to all the Staff who made the one night...

"Lovely quirky room (Africa). Stayed with two dogs who each had beds, bowls and treats provided.. lovely bakery for breakfast where you could choose your breakfast items. Everyone very friendly and great pub (kings arms) opposite for evening food and drink. Perfect place"

"The hotel was very clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay there again. The restaurant had a lot of dogs, which isn’t too good in a restaurant. The breakfast cup was very stained, so I had to get it swapped, but the food was very nice, with a lot of choice. Staff were very friendly, and we had a good laugh with them. "

"Breakfast on the whole was exceptional but maybe the scrambled eggs needed some work, aside from that no complaints and the speed of service was excellent. Awesome location with views outside the property and staff are very outstanding. Hotel is currently being updated which is being done without minimal disruption to the guests. Highly recommended. "The only little complaint we had was the checking in process. We were told we’d get an email telling us how to check in which we never got. Also there seemed to be a difference between the info on hotels dot com and the places own website. But other than that, the room was lovely, well equipped, clean, comfortable. The bathroom was amazing and spotless. Would definitely recommend "

"Great one night stay at the King's Arms. The staff were welcoming and attentive throughout. Couldn't work out how to use the TV and a nice chap came up immediately to sort it. Couldn't fault the clealiness. Great shower. Continental breakfast in a bag contained flapjack, apple, juice, croisant, butter and jam and a porridge pot. Had a great evening meal in the pub. Very friendly place and would stay again. Thank you. "
