"Have stayed here many times because we love the area. Bathroom is needing an upgrade, dirty and curtains are shabby. Beds are clean and comfortable, hot drink facilities are good and excellent access to Costa and McDonald’s."
"We picked property because of its proximity to the cruise terminal. Turns out it’s quite lovely as well as convenient. Lobby is welcoming and restaurant is great. Rooms are very comfortable and clean. Quiet! Easy walk to additional places to eat. Half mile stroll to bus station and national express station. Definitely worthy of a return trip. "
"Me and my friend booked this place as it was quite close to where we shared a house as students 6 years ago and the charm was the same, for us it was a familiar and comfortable stay - the staff were lovely and helpful too, rooms were very nice and it was great value for the pricing.
If you don't mind a shared shower, toilets and kitchen area, definitely give it a go.
My one critique of the house was that the door locks were a little finicky, a few times me and a few other guests got stuck...
"A fantastic pub hotel in a historic part of the city. A great place to explore from. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The breakfasts was delicious and the evening meal we had was too class. The Wyk pie is highly recommended! All in all a fantastic stay in a beautiful city. "
