"We were very impressed by the De Vere, a beautiful place, very comfortable. Loved the Library Bar and restaurant. The breakfast, with loads of,choice and variety was impressive, and the staff were pleasant and polite. The room was comfortable and clean. Although no air con, a good fan was provided, but then the weather was particularly hot! We also enjoyed the Tipi restaurant, lovely food, with excellent waiting service. We would definitely return, to check out the area generally."

"We had stayed here before and were disappointed earlier this year, when we were informed that the hotel was permanently closed. We were therefore delighted when we received an email from Richardson Hotels, offering accommodation there again. We booked a week in early July and weren't disappointed. Yes, the fabric of the hotel needs some attention but our room was clean and comfortable and benefitted from a bay window with a sea view. The staff were friendly, accommodating and very hard-working...
