"Nice village put with good parking a nice clean room"

"The guy who welcome us on the arrival date were nice including in the morning with different guy. The hotel is nice and cute with lovely breakfast room. The lady who take care us for breakfast were lovely."

"This was one of the prettiest places we've ever stayed in. Breakfast was delicious and personalised, wonderfully renovated pub and hotel rooms. Staff were really friendly and great pub to enjoy a drink or eat in. Comfortable, quiet and extremely relaxing with added bonus of bath and sash windows which opened to look out at the front of the property. PERFECT!!"

Although it is advertised on numerous websites that the rooms are air conditioned the airconditioning had broken so there was nothing on the hottest day of the year. There was air conditioning in the reception that was working and units installed the rooms with control panels but were not working. Their explanation was that the pump or condenser was not working. Clean, roomy, well-maintained, comfortable, everything you’d expect from a hotel of this caliber. I couldn’t recommend any higher. You’ll be assured of an excellent stay."

"The historic building is simply beautiful, very charming, and well-restored. The room was spacious, and the bathroom was well-equipped. The service in the restaurant was very friendly but extremely slow. The food was rather mediocre. Breakfast was actually quite poor. There was barely a tablespoon of yogurt with the granola, and the toast was cold and hard like rusk. The location itself is beautiful."

"Stayed for one night, which happened to be the hottest night of the year. Not the hotels fault, but the window in the room would not open. Hotel did supply fans but made little difference. Major issue was after a night in a 30 degree room there was no water for a shower, or the toilet. Spoke to manager who was stressed but apologetic who said the mains were off due to an issue which he hoped would be fixed at some point…. "Firstly, All rooms need Air Conditioning units throughout because this week’s weather from Monday to yesterday was hot and an electrical fan in our room was inappropriate and non-starter. Please ensure Sudbury Hotel understands. Secondly, their duvet was too much for hot weather so they need to invest in thin togs for Summer and keep the thicker togs for Autumn and Winter months.
