Great pub with nice modern and clean rooms in separate adjoining building. Good choice of real ales, good menu and reasonable prices. However, it is the staff that make this place, they’re really good and a credit to the place.

Great place to stay

I’ve stayed here many times as it’s so good. Rooms are spotless and very modern. There is great parking and the food in the bar / restaurant is always exceptional, it’s very reasonable and there are daily specials. The staff are both friendly, helpful and nothing is too much trouble

A very nice pub/restaurant with separate hotel building just outside. Very friendly and helpful staff and the food was really good. Hotel itself is modern, clean and comfortable with a nice modern bathroom.

Very welcoming and friendly place to stay, staff were good, lodgings round the back of the pub are excellent, modern and clean with big rooms and comfy beds and on the whole the pub seems popular with locals. Things of note - breakfasts were excellent where you chose what you like the night before and served beautifully and the evening meals good with fairly regular fair but especially the specials small blackboards are top notch and are a bit more than special so watch out for those. Compliments to the kitchen staff.
